Now I can finally be an official pilot for that shuttle I picked up at the flea market! Thankfully, this thing kinda fits my pinky finger. Now my Sgt. Slaughter figure won’t berate me every time I try to fly the Crusader around my living room.
I feel like a kid who got a cool Cracker Jacks prize–back when that was possible. What is with the lame-o paper prizes in the boxes these days?
It's too bad the greatest small scale GI Joe astronaut figure was released at a time when I had stopped buying the large sets. The Defiant looked like a cool vehicle, and I loved the look of Payload, but I just couldn't bring myself to seek out such a huge…
Lanard's CORPS! line has long taken its design cues from Hasbro's GI Joe. In the 80's and 90's, the figures closely resembled the popular brand. When Joe switched to a T-crotch construction and a softer plastic in the early 2000's, Lanard followed suit. As of now, the company still has…
Who do you think would be the least likely member of Tiger Force, the Joes' jungle specialist team? How about a guy who drives a huge gantry that launches a space shuttle. Right. Wow, the color scheme rivals something out of Funskool. First he was saddled with a baby blue…

These are quite a status symbol! Not many Joes are seals, or astronauts.
