Cobra Commander (2011)

Throughout his history, Cobra Commander has been a man unafraid to bring a little style into the world conquering game. From his debut in 1982, he was outfitted in a nicely tailored uniform, complete with a snappy, single-breasted waistcoat, cleanly lined epaulets, matching lapel and belt insignia, and spats (yes, spats!) Oh yeah, and if one belt wasn’t good enough,

Snake Eyes (2000)

Over the years, we’ve covered many different flora and fauna of pant. Some have been flashy, some short, some animal print. Snake Eyes, though he tends to dress in variations of black, black and black, has sometimes ventured into the more decorative realm. Usually, these detours have been related to environmentally specific uniforms. This time however, Snake Eyes is sporting

Bazooka (1993)

The Battle Corps years probably contain the highest per capita amount of funky trousers in all of GI Joe history. Spearhead and Max (Funskool)

As Funskool figures go, Spearhead and Max don’t fare too badly. There’s no oddly recolored or replaced weapon/accessory complement, and Spearhead wasn’t given a garish uniform variation. Carl “Doc” Greer (2014)

Hasbro’s Kre-O has become more than a bit of an obsession for me since its GI Joe figures made their debut last year. When Collection 1 hit, I hadn’t intended to pick up more than a few choice figures that had sparked my interest. Once I bought a few blind bags and the Checkpoint Alpha set however, I was hooked.

Serpentor (2008)

Included in the same DVD Battle Pack that also contained the oft-requested Sunbow version of Motezuma’s Skeleton, Serpentor is at least interesting. The third modern construction style version of Cobra’s Emperor, he bears somewhat more of a resemblance to his old self than the previous two versions. The result is a bit of recombinant plastic that doesn’t really pay total

ICYMI: Lady Jaye (2009)

I feel bad whenever I have to simply reblog something. Usually, it’s due to just running out of time in the day. (I do have a life, folks). However, I also think that throwing back to a past entry might put a figure back in front of some eyeballs that hadn’t caught it the first time around. Today, it’s a
