The Power of (Knock-Off) Packaging: The Devil Warriors
Somewhere in an alternate dimension, there’s a Bizarro version of 3DJoes that catalogs and restores the artwork of lines like Devil Warriors. Wait–that’s happening right here, today. Whoa.
There’s a scummy sort of beauty to these knock-off packages. They certainly deserve to be seen in better condition than they’re often presented, if only for historical purposes. However, I doubt many of these cards looked too good to begin with.
Does this skull-headed fellow look familiar? Yep, it’s another swipe from a Joe product. Falcon’s been flipped and repainted.
Ha-ha awesome! I love this stuff! What are, “playing assortes”? And is he holding a blunderbuss?
Wow… what did the actual figure look like?
So… Lt. Falcon=Skeletor? Falcon=Keldor? Then Duke=Randor, father of He-man? Ha! (And going by cartoon over comics, Scarlett=Queen Marlena)
I was about to say something about him, looking like he ought to be shouting ‘Curse you, He-man’
Scary guy!
Amazing because someone put some amount of actual effort into this…even as bad as it looks, it took some concept and execution. Post up a pic of the figure if you can por favor.

Wow! Another case where the art is MUCH better than the toy.
Just no.
