Here’s what I wouldn’t mind seeing under my tree this year. 1987 was the last year I bought Joe toys as a kid, and I’m sorry I missed out on the vehicles from that year. I did track them down as an adult, but nothing beats memories of childhood play.

Because you wanted more, here’s another Toy Fair catalog page from the 90s. This time it’s the Drug Elimination Force, a sub-line that I think had some pretty cool figure offerings. Bulletproof and Mutt are faves of mine, and the Headhunters are incredibly nice. The light up weapons are super ginchy too!

It’s easy to forget the the Street Fighter sub-line was actually branded as part of the GI Joe line. Considering that the popular fighting game characters simply jumped into Joe’s universe unchanged, the confusion is warranted.
