1993 Street Fighter II Toy Fair Catalog Spread
Yesterday's post sparked quite a bit of convo, so here's another page from the same year's catalog. It's the Street Fighter II assortment. While not as crazy a dio as the Mega Marines, there's still some interesting things going on--such as pre-production differences from the final toys. Can you spot…

Gung-Ho (1993 Mega-Marine)
If there's one quality that Hasbro possessed with their approach to the Joe line in the 90's--right or wrong--it was a willingness to try anything. "Throw it at the wall and see what sticks" is a good way to describe it. Although it didn't stick at retail, the Mega-Marines sub-line…

”The Monsters from G. I. Joe Halloween are still out?”
Iceburg is frozen solid

I think that actually might be Hardtop.
the more I stare at this dio, the cooler it is. I love the lightbulb changer as a sort of crane
Clutch has the visor. The alternate weapons. What looks like primered vintage figures (likely later used for sample figure releases). There is SOOOOO much to love in this photo. This is a great find and post!
Dude, I love this. Do you have all of the original toy fair catalogs?
I currently have 1992 through 1995.
They don’t have the figure allotments per case assortment do they? Now, with subsets (except Tiger Force), its obvious, but with the regular cardback case assortments, it’s not.
I really need to start chasing a MonstroViper. A playdoh gut bomb is what it’s all about!
