Ah, the 1980s. Things at times got very very strange. GI Joe has this lesser moment compared to Springfield and the Funhouse, Thundercats had their moments (addiction-prone Tigra), as did Transformers (like pitting Rodimus Prime against a shambling zombie Optimus, as if killing off the kids’ favorite hero wasn’t enough).
This wouldn’t have seemed as weird during the DIC years. Sunbow, though, not quite so much.
Haha, yes. He had to do that to save his neck. It’s from way back when when Snake Eyes wasn’t the juggernaut he is today.
